Hello and welcome to my store!

It's rare these days that we get to know exactly where the things we buy come from, and who makes them. How can we, then, in this world of fast fashion, make conscious and ethical choices? I believe that getting to know the artist behind the product is a crucial first step to making a better world.

So, here I am! My name is Sally. I was born and raised in Queensland, Australia, moved to South Australia as a teen, and currently live and work in my little studio in the glorious Adelaide Hills. Since I was a child, my world has focused around creating things, with paper, wood, clay, paint... anything that I could get my hands on, really. I've also always loved getting out into the wilds of the countryside, exploring new worlds, and throwing myself headlong into the wonderment of faerytales, poetry, mythology, and archaeology. Through a very roundabout route, I came to silversmithing, and absolutely love sharing my passion for the craft with anyone and everyone. I treasure that I am able to pursue a creative career that brings pleasure not only to myself, but to others as well.

Through the jewellery that I make, I hope to bring you little insights of my inner world. I hope that you can see the stories suffused in my work, explore the ancient iconography and symbolism imbibed by each piece, and lift the unfurling foliage to reveal the beetle-black eyes that peep out at you. Most of all, I hope you enjoy these little fragments of myself that I scatter before you. They are made for you, after all!
